SharePoint Team Member – Commercial, Non-Profit and Healthcare Division

Mid- to Senior- SharePoint Administrator

Base Pay: $100,000 - $120,000 /Year

Project Locations: Primarily in Maryland, DC & Northern VA (mostly local travel)

Employee Type: Full Time

Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a Mid- to Senior- SharePoint Administrator to join our team. This person would be responsible for participating in the design, development, configuration and deployment of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server applications. Strong presentation skills around Microsoft solutions are a key strength for this position. Equally important is that the person has previous experience cultivating a team oriented, results driven and gratifying environment for teammates.

Professional Requirements:

  • Experience working for a technology consulting firm or software product company
  • Knowledge of best practices utilizing SharePoint and the Microsoft technology stack
  • Advanced knowledge of Collaboration, Portals, Enterprise Search, Enterprise Content Management and/or Business Process and Forms
  • Strong knowledge in leveraging Microsoft’s suite of technologies for providing Business Intelligence solutions such as Microsoft SQL Server, Analysis Services, Integration Services and Reporting Services as well as other 3rd party reporting suites
  • Proven ability to team with Project Managers and Architects to communicate progress and risks with client personnel for purposes of decision making
  • Experience in application lifecycle management systems such as Team Foundation Server
  • Demonstrated ability to stay current with Application Architecture best practices, existing and emerging technology platforms, architectural and systems engineering industry trends
  • Demonstrate advanced written and verbal communication skills, with both technical and non-technical personnel
  • Excellent project management skills with proven ability to multi-task
  • Understand enterprise scale systems built on Microsoft technologies

Technical Requirements:

  • SharePoint and Server management using PowerShell
  • Installation, configuration and maintenance of SharePoint farms
  • Upgrade of SharePoint farms using 3rd party tools
  • Installation, configuration and maintenance of Windows Servers
  • Installation and management of SharePoint features
  • Installation, configuration and maintenance of SQL Server
  • Configuration and customization of SharePoint Search
  • Reporting features used in connection with SharePoint sites
  • SharePoint taxonomy and metadata configuration and use
  • SQL Server database installation, configuration and maintenance
  • SharePoint designer workflows
  • InfoPath forms and SharePoint integration
  • Active Directory group policy, accounts and object management
  • Exchange integration with SharePoint
  • Networking settings as related to multiple web front end server farms, vlan segregation, load balancing
  • ITIL Change process management
