Planet Technologies, Inc. seeks SharePoint Developer in Germantown, MD (and other U.S. locations as needed).
Develop business-changing enterprise solutions using SharePoint as well as other leading-edge technologies. Create custom features using Visual Studio and .Net development. Develop, configure and deploy Microsoft Office SharePoint applications. Develop Web Parts, site definitions, site templates and custom fields. Design, build and implement high quality solutions based on MS SharePoint. Make informed recommendations pertaining to MS SharePoint information and infrastructure, software implementation and web parts design, testing and deployment. Responsible for Estimating SharePoint projects and breaking down project into smaller manageable parts. Recommend and document best practices for software configuration, site permission policy, and site template management.
- CRM Development Manager
Planet Technologies seeks CRM Development Manager in Germantown, MD, and other U.S. locations as needed.
Determine Project needs and business resources required to execute CRM projects. Work with Client Executive Project Sponsors to clarify and define strategy & objectives, scope and CRM business requirements. Define success CRM Project criteria for projects. Manage project scope, drive resolution and keep project on schedule. Develop and track project action items and issues. Document all necessary items as needed. Identify and communicate risks and responses to mitigate project risk. Responsible for the coordination and creation of project documentation and project processes. Work with CRM client team to develop appropriate testing plans to ensure user acceptance, data quality, and system integrity. Coordinate the development of training materials, user manuals and other documents as needed to enable successful implementation and turnover of the process or system to the business owners and users. Facilitate requirements definition meetings with customers. Review and edit requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution. Develop functional specifications and system design specifications. Work with customers/prospects to identify key business issues and their priorities. Install the CRM software suites of MS CRM in clients environment. Determine and evaluate the appropriate IT environment for clients based on the requirements of the CRM applications software. Review and edit requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution. Make base level application configuration and customization in the MS CRM application.
Requires: a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Technology, or related field of study plus 1 year of experience. In the alternative, Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Technology, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience; Demonstrated ability to execute multiple, interdependent end to end projects including identifying CRM project objectives, creating requirements and solution design; Demonstrated ability to learn and master technical detail related to CRM; 1 year of experience as a customer facing consultant in a software environment; Experience working with either CRM, ERP or similar product; Coding skills such as SQL server/.Net/ASP.NET; and occasional travel to client sites as needed. Employer will accept 3 year or 4 year Bachelor's degrees. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience.
