Planet Technologies Wins Small Business of the Year Award for Work at Department of Energy's Oak Ridge National Laboratory
(Germantown, MD) , May 1, 2009 - Planet Technologies, an international
IT consulting and services company, was honored recently by the
Department of Energy's Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) at the 10th
Annual Small Business Subcontractor Awards Program.
The award highlights Planet's accomplishments as a small business
subcontractor that provides computer technology services to the
laboratory. Planet's core capabilities for ORNL include Microsoft
architecture, collaboration, unified messaging, Federal Enterprise
Architecture, and cyber security consulting services. Planet's total
sales to ORNL are $2.8 million.
Planet was one of just six companies to win an ORNL award this year.
