GCC High Priority Update
Week of October 8, 2026
Microsoft is bringing conversational Copilot email drafting to Outlook in GCC High and DoD environments, enabling users to draft, refine, and format emails through natural conversation with Copilot working alongside them — the same agentic capability already available in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Rather than opening a separate Copilot panel, users interact with Copilot inline as they compose, iterating on tone, length, and content in a single flow. For GCC High organizations where Copilot adoption is expanding, this update brings one of Outlook’s most practical AI capabilities into the sovereign cloud. The feature is currently in development and expected to begin rolling out in November 2026.

Microsoft Purview: Information Protection-Auto-labeling scale increase for SharePoint and OneDrive
We are increasing the maximum auto-labeling capacity for SharePoint and OneDrive from 100,000 up to 500,000 files per tenant per day. This helps organizations label and protect more of their data at rest, faster, closing labeling gaps across existing content. With sensitivity labels and protection settings applied to more files sooner, organizations can better prepare their data estate for Microsoft 365 Copilot with greater confidence.

Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations cross-app: Role-based access controls for ERP agents
Dynamics 365 ERP security administrators can apply additional, agent-specific security restrictions that take effect when a user accesses the ERP through an agent. Administrators define these restrictions using the existing security model — assigning roles, duties, and privileges that apply only to agent-initiated requests, scoped by legal entity — so that a user’s agent session can operate with narrower permissions than the same user holds when working directly in the ERP.
