Auto theft crime is on the rise and the focus on prevention is a growing challenge as criminals become more sophisticated. Planet Technologies in coordination with the State of Colorado, built and launched a new Auto Crime Tracking (ACT), cloud-based platform featuring an auto theft prevention service with the goal of streamlining and improving auto theft prevention for law enforcement agencies. Organizations leveraging this platform have the capability to rapidly report on accurate and timely data, a convenience that was previously impossible.

Using a one-of-a-kind query-building experience, crime analysts can build a customized experience based on HTML5 or select from predefined, curated queries. Data visualization is provided through pre-defined reports and the capability to allow for custom data exports based on customer preferences considering the ability to offer graphical representations of the data. ACT was designed with security at the forefront. ACT provides an interface for integrating existing authentication systems, such as Active Directory, into our platform. Secure APIs also enable customers to create solutions for transforming data from their systems into our platform. ACT customers utilize this platform in real-time to generate the data they need, when they need it, and how they need it.
