Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management is adding granular control over which AI applications are used to detect Generative AI indicators, allowing organizations to precisely target monitoring across specific tools. Admins can now select which AI apps are evaluated for indicators such as entering risky prompts in Copilot, receiving sensitive responses from enterprise AI apps, and related signals — reducing noise and improving the accuracy of insider risk detection as AI usage expands across the organization. Built with privacy by design, users remain pseudonymized by default with role-based access controls and audit logs in place. The feature is currently in development and expected to begin rolling out in June 2026.

Outlook: Work week view for Outlook iOS and iPad

You can now use a work week calendar view on iOS and iPad to focus on the days you work. On iPad, you can select “work week” directly from the view picker. You can choose which days are included in your work week by syncing from your default account or by customizing the days just for your device.

Simply invite Facilitator with one tap of the room console. Meeting notes appear on the front of room display or touch board, are available via meeting recap when shared, and deleted if no one selected. Rest assured no data remains in the room. Microsoft Teams: Profanity filter is disabled by default for captions

We are updating the default profanity filter setting for live captions from On to Off across Teams meetings, calls, events, and Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) devices to improve accessibility and align with EU requirements. This change will only affect users who have never configured their live captions profanity filter preference. Users who have already set their preference will keep their current setting. As a result, some users may begin seeing unfiltered profanity in live captions by default after this rollout. Users can update this preference in settings at any time.

This new add-on to the feature shows a new UI that will give users the option to be redirected to M365 Copilot which will open and navigate to this M365 Copilot tab and allow them to send the same prompt there.

This feature is useful when organizations need to direct users to a specific resource or a repository for more specific instruction (e.g. internal policy SharePoint site).

This will ensure that the consistency of previously generate Glint survey reports is retained and user data is handled in accordance with the relevant organizational policies. Microsoft Teams: Hide meetings toolbar

Users can now hide their entire meeting controls toolbar during meetings to create more space or simply clean up their workspace. The setting will persist across their meetings, and the toolbar can be accessed through hover or tab functionality even when in hidden mode. Keyboard shortcuts will still remain active as they are today.
