Users can now use AI to describe how the icon should look like, thus helping inform end users of the agent’s function more easily, with more expression. Users can now generate icons using AI in Agent Builder. Users can enter custom prompts or use the description of the agent to generate the icon. Alternatively, users can manually upload their own icon or select from a set of pre-created icons. Icons are capped at 1 MB (192px).

Before this update, changes made through the Integrated Apps section in the Microsoft 365 admin center would only affect these apps on Outlook and the Microsoft 365 copilot; similarly, changes made in the Teams admin center would exclusively affect Teams. With this change, app and agent availability will be unified across Teams, Outlook and Microsoft 365 copilot.

Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Insider Risk Management – Personal email triggers
In this update, we are adding the recently added email indicators in Insider Risk Management as triggers. 1. Sending email with attachments to free public domains – Users will be brought into scope of a policy when business-sensitive data is potentially leaked from a work email account to a free public domain email, potentially leading to a data security incident. 2. Sending email with attachments to self – Users will be brought into scope of a policy when business-sensitive data is potentially leaked from a work email account to user’s personal email account or emailing self, potentially leading to a data security incident.
Admins with appropriate permissions can enable these indicators from the settings page and use these triggers in the data leaks or data leaks by priority users template.

Microsoft Purview: Data Lifecycle Management- Introduction of secure workflow to bypass retention holds and delete content on OneDrive and SharePoint Online
We’re introducing a new capability in Microsoft Purview Data Lifecycle Management to bypass retention policies and delete content from OneDrive and SharePoint Online before the hold or retention policy duration expires. This feature helps organizations manage Copilot-related artifacts—such as Teams recordings and transcripts—independently of OneDrive retention polices, so organizations can decide how long they want to keep and when to delete this content.
The feature includes support for simulation testing, audit, and disposition reviews, and introduces admin policy authoring flows. These flows are governed by Microsoft Purview role groups to enable the creation and enforcement of defensible deletion policies. #copilotcontrolsystem

Microsoft Teams: Agent & bot support for Entra authentication in group chats
Agents & bots in group chats will now be able to authenticate through Entra. When an app requests a user’s Entra token in a group chat, if that user does not have the app installed or Entra consent, they are sent a targeted message. This targeted message is only visible to that user. This message serves two purposes: to ask the user to install the Teams app personally and to open the Entra permission consent dialog. Once both requirements are met, the app can leverage Entra for the requested permissions (e.g., Graph).

If no room is booked for a meeting, this AI feature recommends rooms in the meeting chat an hour before start when two or more attendees are in the same building, making in-person collaboration easier. It considers location of participants, room availability, and capacity to find the best meeting space. You can reserve the suggested room with one click and update the invite for everyone.
