Microsoft Teams Rooms on Windows is adding support for human interpreter listening mode, allowing room participants to select their preferred language and hear live interpreter audio directly through the room system. When meeting organizers enable language interpretation in Meeting options, in-room attendees can access the same interpretation experience previously available only to remote participants, bringing parity to multilingual meetings in physical spaces. The feature is currently rolling out for Commercial, GCC, GCC High, and DoD environments.

Extend Microsoft Purview data security controls to the network layer to detect and protect sensitive data in text and prompts by integrating with Entra Internet Access. This integration enables organizations to intercept and inspect text and AI interactions at the network layer, enforce restrictive actions based on DLP policies, and detect risky user activity through Insider Risk Management. It helps prevent sensitive data from being shared with untrusted cloud applications through browsers, apps, APIs, add-ins, and more – including generative AI platforms, social media, collaborative platforms – while managing alerts and incidents through Purview and Microsoft Defender.

Microsoft Edge: Ask Copilot about an image
Ask Copilot about an image in Edge enables users to instantly analyze images from the web by sending them directly to Copilot from the Edge context menu, making it easy to ask questions, gain insights, and understand visual content without leaving their browsing experience. Microsoft Entra: Upcoming changes to federatedTokenValidationPolicy default settings
The federatedTokenValidationPolicy is a resource type in Microsoft Graph (beta) that governs the validation of federated authentication tokens and allows customers to configure a rule to block logins where internalDomainFederation does not match UPN domain. The feature by default requires manual configuration in the tenant to prohibit cross-domain logins. To strengthen security with cross-domain sign-in we will change the default rule for federatedTokenValidationPolicy to block logins where internalDomainFederation does not match UPN domain. This internalDomainFederation object is typically created automatically during federation setup with AD federation server or other IdPs.

OneNote: Suggested Artifact Creation in Copilot Notebooks
