My name is Scott Dowling and I am the newest member of the Cloud Strategist team at Planet Technologies. I am extremely excited to have joined Planet. During my time at Microsoft, I had the opportunity to witness first hand Planet’s commitment and successes in providing guidance and technical assistance within my customer base. Because of this, I had always hoped to be able to join such a competent team – and now, here I am!

My journey to the cloud started when I left the United States Army after 7 years, and seeing technology as the place to be in 1999. After working for the State of Pennsylvania in many roles (Lead DBA, Lead Developer, IT Manager) I had my opportunity to join Microsoft. Since then, I have spent these last 10 years assisting people and organizations navigate the ever-changing landscape of Microsoft technologies.

On a personal note, I currently reside in Carlisle, Pennsylvania with my wife and two children. I am an avid movie aficionado and a huge fan of football (the worlds version) and an avid supporter of AFC Bournemouth (Go Cherries!) and the Philadelphia Union.
