Microsoft Teams admins can now create and assign multiple meeting themes to a customization policy, allowing meeting organizers who are assigned to a customization policy the ability to select from different meeting theme options while scheduling their meetings. This is available for those with a Teams Premium license worldwide.

Microsoft 365 Roadmap Updates – March 20, 2025
Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management will include risky AI usage as a trigger to monitor insider risks like IP theft, data leakage, and security violations, starting in August 2025. This feature will launch for Commercial users first, with GCC and GCC High to follow.
Microsoft 365 Roadmap Updates – March 13, 2025
The secure password deployment feature in the Edge management service will enable admins to send encrypted shared passwords to certain users, allowing them to log in to websites without ever seeing the actual passwords. This secure deployment reduces the risk of unauthorized access and enhances the organization’s overall security posture. The new feature will be available worldwide (Standard Multi-Tenant) in April 2025.
Microsoft 365 Roadmap Updates – March 7, 2025
Starting later this year, Copilot in Word will be able to summarize documents up to about 1,500,000 words or 3,000 pages. This summary will be available on top of the document. The feature update will begin in commercial tenants.
Microsoft 365 Roadmap Updates – February 27, 2025
There is an update coming to Microsoft Purview compliance portal for policy sync status. Coming in May 2025, solution admins will be able to know the policy sync status directly from the Policy page in Purview portal. This new feature will give users insight into whether policy changes have reached the target locations and users. This policy sync status feature is available for DLP (excluding endpoint policies), Information Protection, Data Loss Management, Records Management, Information Barriers, and Priva.
Microsoft 365 Roadmap Updates – February 20, 2025
Insider risk management is introducing one central location for all reports, including analytics, user activity, alert trends and cases created. Users with the admin, analyst or investigator role will have access to view the new alerts & cases report. Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management correlates various signals to identify potential malicious or inadvertent insider risks, such as IP theft, data leakage, and security violations. The new feature is rolling out now for all clients.
Microsoft 365 Roadmap Updates – February 14, 2025
Changes are coming to Microsoft Purview eDiscovery export. The biggest export change is when eDiscovery has Standard and Premium cases with unified structure, soon export will also be aligned for both the streams – thereby providing a singular experience to customers. The changes are expected to roll out in March 2025 for DoD, GCC High, and GCC environments.
Microsoft 365 Roadmap Updates – February 7, 2025
Administrators will soon be able to monitor Teams client version update adoption and access detailed adoption information. This feature will allow administrators to gain a proactive understanding of version adoption, assess the health of different versions, and access detailed information about devices and users utilizing the latest client versions. This update is scheduled to roll out in March for all clients.

New Outlook continues to improve. Microsoft is working to improve the reliability of calendar sharing to make sure events are constantly updated instead of just periodically. This update should be available in May for customers worldwide.
