Microsoft Teams will soon support noise suppression for dial-in participants. This feature automatically filters out background noise (e.g., traffic, typing) for users who join meetings via phone. It enhances clarity and reduces distractions for all meeting participants. The feature will be rolled out gradually but can be enabled earlier via the Teams Admin Center.

Microsoft is adding more email indicators in Insider Risk Management in Microsoft Purview as triggers. The first one is sending email with attachments to free public domains. Second, sending email with attachments to self. Admins with appropriate permissions can enable these indicators from the settings page and use these triggers in the data leaks or data leaks by priority users template.

Microsoft 365 Roadmap Updates – July 24, 2025
Microsoft is adding the ability to save a meeting as a draft on your calendar if you aren’t ready to send the meeting invites. When composing an event with at least one attendee added, select dismiss and then select Save as a Draft. The draft event will show on your calendar as [Draft] along with the title of the event. This update is rolling out in July 2025 for customers worldwide.
Microsoft 365 Roadmap Updates – July 17, 2025
Introducing a new feature to help manage unwanted emails! Users can now report emails as junk and unsubscribe if possible, reducing the overload on block lists. If unsubscribing isn’t available, blocking the sender remains an option. This feature will be accessible in July 2025 via the Microsoft 365 Admin Center Worldwide Standard Multitenant.
Microsoft 365 Roadmap Updates – July 10, 2025
Soon Microsoft Copilot will detect emails that are most likely to need a response and pre-generate three options for you to review and select from. The feature, scheduled for September 2025 for customers worldwide, will save time and energy responding to high priority emails with proactive drafts.
Microsoft 365 Roadmap Updates – July 3, 2025
Microsoft is releasing Viva Engage Role Management APIs in Microsoft Graph soon. These new APIs enable IT admins to programmatically manage Viva Engage-specific roles, including Corporate Communicator, Network Administrator and Verified Administrator. The APIs are available in beta for allowing users to test and share their feedback as we prepare for the general availability.
Microsoft 365 Roadmap Updates – June 26, 2025
Microsoft is letting you customize your own keyboard shortcuts in Teams to match your work preferences. Customize the keyboard shortcut for an action you frequently use by clicking on the ellipsis and selecting Keyboard shortcuts from the menu. This is rolling out in June 2025 worldwide.
Microsoft 365 Roadmap Updates – June 19, 2025
Admins in Purview Data Loss Protection can configure policies in Microsoft Edge for Business being used as the secure enterprise browser. Admins can apply protections directly in the Edge browser to target scenarios where users on unmanaged (or BYO) devices are sharing data to or exfiltrating data from org-managed cloud apps which are using Entra authentication for user sign-in. The feature is rolling out in June 2025.
