The update will begin rolling out in January 2026 for standard multi-tenant, GCC, GCC High, and DoD customers.

Working with Copilot is getting even easier. Microsoft is rolling out a feature that ensures conversations are preserved even when users navigate away from a session. As soon as a prompt is submitted, an entry is immediately created in the navigation pane’s session history allowing for a quick return without losing progress. The update is rolling out now for standard multi-tenant, GCC, GCC High, and DoD customers.

Microsoft 365 Roadmap Updates – November 20, 2025
Microsoft is making some updates to Microsoft Teams Interpreter and multilingual meeting experience. First, spoken language is now automatically detected and updated across Interpreter, live captions, and live transcription. Next, a new “preparing” status provides clear visual feedback while Interpreter initializes, helping users know when the system is ready. Finally, Interpreter settings have also been improved with concise explanations for each configuration and field, making setup easier and minimizing confusion. These updates are expected to rollout in December 2025.

Microsoft is bringing Copilot Chat to the core Microsoft 365 apps across Commercial, GCC, GCC High, and DoD environments. This expansion will allow users to interact directly with Copilot through chat—asking questions, refining searches, drafting content, and locating shared information—all within familiar Office 365 experiences. The update reflects Microsoft’s continued investment in making Copilot broadly accessible, including for government customers. Initial rollouts are expected to begin as early as December 2025, with additional environments following in early 2026.

Always-on diagnostics captures critical diagnostic data from onboarded endpoint devices running on macOS for EDLP issue reporting. Comprehensive trace logs will be automatically recorded and stored locally on onboarded Mac devices, eliminating the need to reproduce issues when submitting investigation requests to Microsoft. This feature update is scheduled for November 2025.
