Former Microsoft Account Executive Joins Planet Technologies

Planet is pleased to announce Deana Bieg has joined our team as an Account Executive for the East Region state and local government division.

Prior to joining Planet, Deana worked for Microsoft in the State and Local Government business unit for over nine years as an account executive. In this capacity, she developed and drove Microsoft cloud solutions with government clients spanning the southeastern United States. In addition, Deana was a mentor and trainer for the MACH hires in State and Local Government for Microsoft Corporation.

“I’m excited to join the Planet team. I’ve worked closely with Planet Technologies throughout my years at Microsoft and know what an incredible team of people I am joining. I look forward to continuing to work with my former State and Local customers and supporting them with high values and expertise Planet is known for bringing,” states Deana.

Planet Technologies came highly recommended by several colleagues, and we appreciated how they provide local resources we can work with face-to-face. During our meetings, they quickly distinguished themselves from the other solution providers, some of which offered a vanilla approach and felt they could work with us from a distance. That was not the route we wanted to go.
